Just add one or two spirals directly into your beverage for six weeks and you can achieve the oak flavor you want with your neutral barrel or tank. This 3 gallon glass carboy is ideal for primary fermentation of a five gallon batch of beer. It's non-porous surface makes it easily clean and sanitize. Glass fermenters are preferred to plastic because the plastic is easily scratched and can harbor bacteria that is difficult to remove.
