Thomas Coopers Irish Stout is an authentic recipe containing a blend of malted barley, roasted barley, flaked barley and hops. The pour will show a turbulent, cascading tan foaming action. Eventually, this settles into a creamy beige colored head that rests atop the beer. This is a complete beer kit as no extra malts or sugars are needed. Yeast and priming sugar are included with this kit.

This Dry Stout is black in color with a brown head, and is very full-bodied.  It has a rich maltiness paired with a sharp bite from the roasted grains, and impressive hop profile. This kit includes all the ingredients necessary for your first 5 gallon (2 cases) batch of homebrew. Our special recipe ingredient kits are totally complete and include: all the malt extract needed for the recipe (no need to add sugar here), specialty grains for added flavor and a cheesecloth bag for steeping them, fresh hops for just the right amount of bitterness, flavor and aroma, yeast, clarifier, priming sugar for bottling and full instructions specific to each recipe. Our equipment kit sets you up with all the special equipment you need to make outstanding homebrew again and again. It is versitile and easily expandable to grow with you and your interests. Kit includes: 6.5 gallon fermenting bucket with lid, stopper and airlock, 6.5 gallon bottling bucket, bottle filler, bottle capper, 144 caps, 5 ft siphon hose, 24 in siphon cane with anti-sediment tip, hydrometer, thermometer, sanitizer and an instruction book. This organic ingredient kit makes a dry stout styled after the most popular Irish Stout, with a rich roasted malt character and moderate hop bitterness. Deep reddish black in color, this beer has a thick, full bodied texture and pours a creamy head. Our kit requires boiling for one full hour to produce a rich, smooth flavor and a clear finish. Contains fresh organic malt extract, a small amount of organic specialty malt, fresh organic hops, organic dry malt extract (DME) for bottling, Irish Moss, a recipe and illustrated instructions. All of the organic ingredients included in our kits are certified organic under the USDA National Organic Program by California Certified Organic Farmers. This package includes Safale S-04 dry brewers yeast (not organic), so every ingredient needed to brew the beer is included. Beer style specs: Approx. original gravity(O.G.): 1.045. Approx.
